1940’s Retro Glam Make-up for Belle Mode Reve Launch…
This is a roundup of the completed make-up look at today’s job for Belle Mode Reve ‘Fashion’ launch video showing off some of her beautiful elegant and sophisticated designs, and like usual I got close up make-up shots to show you all what I created for this fashion video working with Hollie Wakeham who did the nails and hair in a vintage retro style too!
*The eye makeup was kept to the minimum with very little shadow, using Golden Rose Silky Touch eyeshadow in shade Bamboo softy blended into the crease line. Mascara was the main accessory in this era so I used Eylure Girls Aloud false lashes in ‘Nicola’ which gives the end of the models lashes a slight natural flirty flick to the eyes. To get the perfect 1940s eyeline inspired by Dita Von Teese I used my Kryolan eyeliner brush dipped into Kryolan black cream liner and the white Kryolan cream liner in the water line.
*Finally something that everyone has been asking about with this look I created on my Twitter and Instagram- How did I make the skin look so flawless? This is down to skin preparation using my 3 step Simple skin routine and Origins A Perfect World SPF35 UV Face Protector moisturiser and finally Smash Box Photo Finish face primer and Smash Box Photo Finish under eye primer ; this made my models canvas perfect for foundation application. To work with HD Macro filming I used my favourite foundations from Kryolan- HD Micro foundation for a pale porcelain complexion , then skin was then contoured down the nose and cheeks and jaw line with my Crown Brush Blusher set using a taupe bronze shade. The skin blending and perfection was also down to using my favourite brush set at the moment- Crown Brush HD Set!
Keep an eye out for the fashion video to go live soon and a behind the scene video on how me and Hollie created the look.
